FAQ
Question: What is this?
deviantARCADE is a made for deviantART arcade (Flash) game.
This is not a club. This is a community Project.

Question: So the project and chat is about role playing?
No. We are here creating character sprites (graphics), talking about our characters/game, or just chatting.
Characters are sprites approximately 85px high.

Question: So I have to be an artist/animator to participate?
Not exactly. If you can sketch, or write stories -- you can still create your character. There will also but an in-game character creation.

Question: So all I can do is create characters?
No, actually there is a lot of things you can do to help out. For an in-depth list of stuff you can do, read: Contributions

You MUST read the resource information. EVERY question you WILL ask otherwise-- is already answered.

Bots
Bots are only permitted for archive purposes and will be placed in the "ArcadeWalkers" group where they will be silenced. NO ARGUING.

Discipline
There are a wide array of people you have too look out for. Each one will have their tempers checked and made sure they won't overstep their bounds. This is a fair and fun environment.

The following will result in a Kick, or being Silenced. Excessive use may result in a ban.
- Llamas or other large emotes/thumbs
- Spam
- Advertising
- Multiple accounts
- Excessive Emotional immodesty.
- Joining 3+ times: "Clones" -- *YouName[3]*
- Spoiling Stories, Puzzle Solutions or other parts of the game.

ArcadeWalkers : Silenced
Banned : Cannot join.

"Non-sense Arguments" and "Smack Talk"
Allowed as long as they are not disrupting current conversations/discussions.
If it's rather quite and you wanna smack talk -- go for it:
Only on their people's characters -- nothing personal. This includes if people take smack talk on their character as personal.. These are their creations, be respectful.

Have fun
Chat, talk about characters and designs, talk about improvements, discuss the game.. ect.
No one rules with an iron fist, as I said before, those in power will have their tempers checked to make sure they don't start banning just because your being silly or what-not.

Membership

deviants
If your just entering #deviantARCADE for the first time, your in "deviants". This is just the normal entrance level of people coming in. When you learn more about the chat room, and participate, you get promoted.

ArcadeMembers
This is typically what you get promoted too, from "deviants". To be promoted you have to demonstrate that you understand the project. In this group, you are active, or regular member to the chat.

ArcadePros
Professional arcade members, who are in the top bracket of the player list, or are very frequent users. You must be in this group to even attempt a challenge for the ArcadeChampion.

ArcadeChampion
This is the current Champion of all characters within deviantARCADE. You MUST be an ArcadePro to even attempt a formal challenge on the Champion.
The Champion gets a few admin commands. They:
Can kick people being obnoxious.
Can promote to ArcadeMembers
Can demote to ArcadeWalker
**NOTICE** Champions who abuse this power WILL be demoted.

Higher-ups

ArcadeWorkers
Obviously, people working and developing on the game. Anyone from programmers, to server guys.

ArcadeBouncers
"Members" level admins. These guys check the door to make sure now wise guys get in -- and if they do.. out on their a--

ArcadeAdmins
Essentially "admins", "moderators" and "operators" all rolled into one. Don't piss these people off. Like the Bouncers watch over the "Members" these guys watch over everyone else.

ArcadeStaff
People held in high regards for their contibutions to deviantARACDE.

ArcadeBOT
This is me, ArcadeBOT. I look over, and welcome everyone into the chat, as well as provide information and commands whilst in chat.

ArcadeMaster
The toughest person in deviantARCADE. In the beginning, to even become champion you had to at least put up a valiant fight against him. He is the arcade's Boss, the ruler, and commander of deviantARCADE. No sense even attempting to confront him, it'll be the day you depart from the living.

Others

ArcadeWalkers
This is people who just walk around the arcade, not saying a word.. because they can't.
Call them "noobs", "pwned", "obnoxious" whatever, each one fits. They need to calm down, and realize what the have to do to even be considered for a place with everyone else.
You can be sent here because your being irritating, or because your being giving a second chance (coming back from "Banned"). Ether way.. try NOT to be in this group.
